I have been working in professional scene shops since 2013 in a variety of capacities. Below you will find some examples of my work along with some context.

At TSA Inc, I had the pleasure of working on many Ford Theatre productions including 12 Angry Men. Photo credit to Ford Theatre.

This arch was a collaboration between myself and two master blacksmiths from Armenia at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. It was the entryway into the Armenian area, and was a very complicated project requiring communication through a translator, disassembly, transportation, and reassembly on site.

This arch was for a production at the University or Maryland. It required the walkway up top to be level while taking into account it being installed on a rake and in forced perspective

This elevator was for a production of Shakuntala at James Madison University. It went from a pile of steel and cable to a functional and safe understage elevator within one day due to scheduling constraints.

This is one example of the pieces I built for Shrek the Musical at PCPA. This is Farquad's castle, requiring a complex steel base and internal structure, MDF paneling with false grout, and wheels.

I worked as the rigging intern at Glimmerglass Opera for their 2014 Summer season. This production of Ariadne auf Naxos required a barn facade to fly in with operational barn doors attached to the existing rigging. Photo credit to James Karas.

For American Tragedy we had to create a backdrop and 2 sets of legs out of over 140 dress shirts spread across 6 different linesets. Each one required a vacuum pressed shoulder support and two rigging points. Photo credit to NY Times.
